| 中文描述 | 黑腿病是由梭狀芽胞桿菌屬之孝伏氏氣腫疽桿菌（Clostridium chauvoei），一種產芽胞的厭氧菌引起的。會經口或傷口進入體內。有沙沙聲的腫大肌肉是大部分病例的特徵，不過有報告在已經死亡的牛羊身上發現由C. CHAUVOEI引起的心肌炎「心臟的黑腿病」通常沒有骨骼肌的病變。馬匹似乎對此並有免疫力。由微生物分離或螢光抗體測試診斷。有疫苗可用。 |

| 英文描述 | Blackleg is due to CLOSTRIDIUM CHAUVOEI, a spore-forming anaerobe. May enter the body orally or through wounds. Swelling with crepitus in muscle is the clinical hallmark in most cases, although myocarditis due to C. CHAUVOEI, 'blackleg of the heart', has been reported in cattle and sheep which were found dead, often in the absence of lesions in skeletal muscle. Horse seems to be immune. Dx by isolation of organism or fluorescent antibody tests. There is a vaccine. |
